Shyne speaks on Judaism
After the infamous club shooting in 1999 involving Puffy and Jennifer Lopez, Shyne was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
During his lengthy incarceration he decided to convert to Judaism and change his name to Moses Michael Leviy. In the above clip, shot in a yeshivah in Jerusalem, you can see him passionately explaining his reasons for this drastic conversion of lifestyle.
It is a curious subject considering many artists who worked with Puffy have turned to God:
Mase - Preacher
Loon - Devout Muslim
Black Rob - Released from prison in May 2010 most likely a Buddhist.
Here's a video of Shyne back in his Bad Boy 'hey dayz'-

The Whatnauts - Message From A Black Man
RZA - You Can't Stop Me Now
The Whatnauts - Message From A Black Man
Ill Bill - Unstoppable
King Geedorah - Anti Matter
RZA - You Can't Stop Me Now
Nas - You Can't Stop Us Now
Celph Titled and Buckwild ft Vinnie Paz - Eraserheads
Like a puppet on a string
This remix is done by Nuttkase out of Russia and is one of those few remixes that is better than the original. This video is brilliant and so un-hip hop, plus B-real looks like the creature out of Pan's Labyrinth.
I'm nervous...
Jessie Ware is an up and coming London based vocalist who has worked with artists such as Man Like Me, Rack n Ruin and now SBTRKT.
The excellently produced, infectious track features Ware's smooth vocals over a jumpy electro bassline. It has already been getting heavy play by respected DJ's such as Mista Jam and Benji B in clubs and on radio.
Release date is 1st November on Numbers.
Listen below.

Do you still get those daze?
If you don't know about Sampha - now is the time.
He's a 20 year old from Morden, South London with a unique and soulful voice and sound whos been ready to blow for a while now.
Recently he's been working and performing with nu-electro producer/DJ SBTRKT and the results are futuristic and funky at the same time.
If you get the chance to see Sampha live I highly recommend it.
Check the "Evening glow / Break off" collab with SBTRKT and his EP "Sundanza" featuring the excellent "Rainstars".
Here is a video of him performing on Boiler Room a few months back which I must have watched over 25 times.

Nineteen-ninety something...
So Celph-Titled has decided to do an album with Buckwild which is gonna be straight 90's boom bap ish.
I think this is a sick idea although a lot of hip hop nerds will disagree and claim 'regression' and 'living in the past' etc.
All you need to do is look at the facts -
-Hip hop in 2010 is 99% shit
-Hip hop in 1994 was 99% dope
-The album is produced by Buckwild who has produced many classics for artists such as BIG L, KOOL G RAP, NAS, BIG PUN the list goes on...
-Celph is a sick emcee with a mad voice and incredible punchlines. The combination is perfect.
Have a listen to this and decide for yourself, personally I am eagerly anticipating the 26th October release.
